From an early age  I was fortunate enough to have the support of my family in everything that I persued. When I showed interest in astronomy, my parents took me to the space center. If I wanted to learn about cars, my father would let me watch while he tinkered with the engine.  My interest in science was nurtured with books and Popular Science magazines. I would pour over them like most kids read comics. My interest in art was obvious, because my family would provide me with an endless supply of crayons, colored pencils and paint.  When I started to paint, my work started to combine some of these interests.

I started my education in art beginning in high school. I was accepted into the advanced placement program in my sophomore year and graduated with high marks. When I started to paint, my work started to combine some of these interests. Schematics, anatomical diagrams, aeronautical charts worked their way into my work. I am continuing my education at the Glassell School of Art and am currently pursuing a BFA at the University of Houston.
