Whitney Henderson, a native houstonian, received her bfa from the school of visual arts, nyc, as a silas rhodes scholar in 2004. she then moved to florence, italy, where she lived and painted, pursuing independent studies until 2008. Her time in europe allowed her to further pursue a passion for travel and deeply inspired her painting and glazing methods. She currently resides in houston, painting full time in her studio at winter street studios.
